Management
Maria – Practice Manager
Maria has been part of the veterinary industry for more than 20 years, bringing extensive experience, leadership, and a lifelong love for animals to her role as Practice Manager. Her passion for animal care began early, and through a high school volunteer program, ROP (Regional Occupational Program), she had the opportunity to give back to her community while gaining valuable experience, responsibility, and professional skills. This experience helped strengthen her commitment to the veterinary field and inspired her to continue building a career dedicated to helping animals and the people who care for them.
As Practice Manager, Maria oversees the daily operations of the hospital while supporting the entire team. Her responsibilities include
ensuring hospital equipment and systems are functioning properly, assisting doctors, technicians, and reception team members, managing exam rooms and office operations, supporting client communication, and supervising staff to maintain a safe, efficient, and positive environment for patients, clients, and team members.
Maria is dedicated to creating a workplace built on teamwork, compassion, and
high-quality patient care. She enjoys supporting her team, improving hospital processes, and ensuring every client and patient receives the exceptional care they deserve.

Monce – Office Manager
Hi! My name is Monce. I was born in Mexico and moved to the U.S. at age 6, growing up in Modesto. I’ve always had a passion for helping others, and my love for animals has grown even more since working here.
About a year ago I adopted an 8-year-old poodle named Luna, who hops like a bunny instead of running!
My motto has always been
“Lo hago porque puedo, puedo porque quiero, y quiero porque dijeron que no podía.”

Hi, I’m Reyna! I joined the team as a Technical Assistant in July 2025. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Animal Biology from the University of California, Davis, and have been working in the veterinary field for the past seven years.
My experience has allowed me to work with a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, laboratory animals, and livestock, which has continued to grow my passion for veterinary medicine. My favorite part of being a Technical Assistant is being able to provide compassionate care and support for our patients, especially during surgery, where I enjoy helping ensure each pet receives the attention and care they deserve.

Veterinary Assistant
Hi, I’m Alondra! I was born and raised in Gustine, California, where my passion for animals began at a young age. Growing up, I worked alongside my dad on our family dairy farm, and those early experiences caring for animals inspired a lifelong commitment to animal health and welfare.
I am currently pursuing a degree in Animal Science with a minor in Biomedical Engineering, combining my passion for animals with innovative technology to help improve their health and quality of life. My goal is to continue my education at the Royal Veterinary College in London, where I plan to pursue my dream of becoming a veterinarian. I hope to specialize in veterinary neurology, studying the minds, behaviors, and neurological health of animals from all backgrounds. My mission is to better understand them and be their voice through compassionate, advanced veterinary medicine.
As part of my educational journey, I’ll soon be traveling to Africa, Costa Rica, and Thailand to study wildlife, animal behavior, and conservation efforts. These experiences will allow me to learn how animals live, survive, and thrive in diverse environments around the world.
When I’m not at the clinic, I work at the San Francisco Aquarium, where I help care for marine animals while expanding my knowledge of aquatic life. If I’m not there, you’ll likely find me back on a dairy farm working with cows—one of my first loves.
At home, my family includes three dogs—Daisy, Lucky, and Bailey—a cat named Pollo, and two cows, also named Daisy and Bailey. In my free time, I enjoy training my cows for shows, running with my dogs, working out, spending time with family, and exploring new places.
I’m excited to continue growing in veterinary medicine and look forward to making a meaningful difference in the lives of animals and the families who love them.

One of Catarina’s favorite parts of veterinary medicine is working with the wide variety of patients she sees each day. She strives to help every pet feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while supporting clients by answering their questions and ensuring their companions receive the highest quality care.
Catarina’s favorite animal is the cow, and at home she enjoys spending time with her dog, Daisy. Outside of work, she loves dancing with her Portuguese folklore group, which allows her to stay connected to her culture, heritage, and community.
Catarina is committed to continuing her growth as a veterinary technician by expanding her knowledge of veterinary medicine and providing compassionate, high-quality care to every patient she meets.
