Dr. Maria Rodriguez, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Maria Rodriguez was born and raised in Puerto Rico where she completed a bachelor degree on cellular and molecular biology. She then moved to the island of Grenada, West Indies, and completed her doctorate in veterinary medicine at St George’s University.

Dr. Maria Rodriguez and Dr. Sergio Pereira met in veterinary school and started a good friendship which later turned into a beautiful family, with 2 children. Following Dr. Pereira’s existing veterinary business in California, they moved to Patterson so start a new life together.

They’ve always dreamed of the idea of owning their own veterinary practice and that dream became their reality in 2014, when they became the proud owners of Apricot Veterinary Clinic and GbarN Veterinary Clinic which then they changed the name to True Blue Veterinary Hospital in honor of the campus at St. George’s University where they first met.

They are very excited and willing to work towards a better future for the clinics, their staff, their clients, the patients, and most importantly, our communities.

Dr. Jessica Wuoltee, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Jessica Wuoltee was born and raised on a small farm in northern California. Growing up she was actively involved in her 4-H group breeding and showing livestock. After high school, she attended the University of California, Davis with interest in veterinary science, livestock production, and equine science. She continued her education at the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine with a mixed animal outlook and special interest in ruminant medicine and surgery.

After graduation, Dr. Wuoltee moved to Patterson with her husband who grew up and farms in the area. She started working for Apricot Veterinary Clinic and True Blue Veterinary Hospital in 2011. She loves the variety that a mixed animal clinic provides and the challenge of seeing many different species. She says some of the best days are spent caring for a variety of animals; everything from a child’s pet rat to a rancher’s 2,000 pound bull and anything in between.

Dr. Wuoltee lives on the east side of Patterson with her husband, 2 sons, three dogs, horses and cats. They are expecting another baby in fall of 2016. Her family runs a purebred Angus operation, custom farming business and has some almonds trees. During her free time, she helps with the farming, rides her horses and offers a cooking group through the Patterson 4-H.

Dr. Wuoltee has enjoyed being part of the West Side Community and loves seeing the familiar faces around town. She is excited to be able to provide quality medicine for your pets and hopes to meet them either at Apricot Veterinary Clinic or True Blue Veterinary Hospital.
